This boat was the flagship model for Cabo in 2002 and is a well built, solid, proven fishing machine and a comfortable cruiser. We raised many Marlin with this boat in the Bahamas and cruised as far as Rum Cay creating some of our most spectacular memories. This design is extremely well balanced, requiring almost no trim tabs for optimal running attitude. Cabo's are famous for their well built boats with extreme attention to detail throughout. The design favored a large cockpit for fishing and diving and very easy access to the engine room because of the custom salon L setee with sloped overhead entrance. I had MAN mechanical 800/8's installed because they were proven and the original design was balanced with these engines. There is good access on all sides for maintenance. The factory told me that this was the most customized 47 that they had ever built. She is hull #38. I will outline all of those upgrades in the details below. We made three trips to the factory in Adelanto, California during construction and became quite familiar with the factory personnel and Cabo management. This is a wonderful boat that we outfitted with many features so that my wife and I could cruise and marlin fish by ourselves in the Bahamas and live on the boat for months at a time in comfort. This boat can cruise at 28 kts to Boat Harbour Abaco's and back on one tank of fuel (900 ga) from Ft Pierce, Fl
I have started the process of having her put into top form for sale. During this time, I will accept a lower offer and as I get the work done, the price will go up to reflect the condition of the boat as I complete the process. There are very few of these excellent boats available for sale and this can make this wonderful vessel available to a new owner sooner.
